Doug The rectangular ports make more HP than the large oval at over 4500 rpm.They breath more air. The oval make more torque than rectangular at lower rpm (3000 to 3400). Tim Your ratio is 1.9? Doug My plan is buy only the short blocks and use spacers for the intake. This block add 1 inch heigth, maybe they fitt. Rochin

Hello I have a 1986 33 Convertible. I want to repower with 8.2L Carb. My current engines are 454 340HP Carb. Anyone have this or simmilar engines, can give me the numbers of cruisse kt@rpm and props. My trans are 1.9. Thanks Rochin
